Mike Bartlett
Mike Bartlett è un pluripremiato drammaturgo e sceneggiatore. La seconda stagione di Doctor Foster è andata in onda sulla BBC nel 2017, così come l’adattamento televisivo della sua opera teatrale King Charles III.
È stato Associate Playwright presso Paines Plough, Writer‑In‑Residence al National Theatre e Pearson Playwright in Residence al Royal Court Theatre.
La sua pièce King Charles III ha vinto il Critic’s Circle Award for Best New Play e l’Olivier Award for Best New Play, ed è stata candidata al Tony Award for Best New Play.
Love Love Love ha ricevuto il premio Best New Play agli Theatre Awards UK nel 2011, mentre Cock ha ottenuto l’Olivier Award in 2010 per Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre . Ha vinto inoltre i premi Writer’s Guild Tinniswood Award e Imison Award per Not Talking, e l’Old Vic New Voices Award per Artefacts.
La sua serie televisiva The Town è stata candidata a un BAFTA for Breakthrough Talent, mentre Doctor Foster ha collezionato nomination ai BAFTA per il Radio Times Audience Award e Best Mini Series, oltre a vincere il premio Best Leading Actress per Suranne Jones. Nel 2016, Bartlett ha ottenuto il riconoscimento Outstanding Newcomer for British Television Writing ai British Screenwriters’ Awards per Doctor Foster
